I am a registered nurse by profession and an artist at heart. While caring for people has become one of the most meaningful parts of my life, creating art has been a lifelong passion. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and what began as a childhood love of animals has grown into a lifelong pursuit of capturing their beauty, spirit, and individuality. I’ve come to learn that being around animals is my happy place. So drawing them has become my ultimate happiness. Something that makes me different as an artist is that I have closely studied many of the animals I draw. I’ve become familiar with specific characteristics and movements that allow me to bring these animals to life.

As a registered nurse, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for compassion, patience, and attention to detail—qualities that naturally carry into my artwork. I specialize in wildlife and custom pet portraits, working primarily in pastel, charcoal, colored pencil, and digital media. While I love bringing every animal to life on paper, my greatest passion has always been big cats. Their strength, grace, and emotion continue to inspire my work.

My goal is to create artwork that goes beyond a likeness. Whether it’s preserving the memory of a beloved companion or capturing the powerful presence of a wild animal, I strive to reflect each subject’s unique personality and create a piece that tells its story.
